BBQ Sandwiches At San Elijo With The Tapias, Mary and Diana

Rode up with Mary and Diana to meet Rodrigo, Sylvia, Stitch and Lilo at the San Elijo State Park campground. We had barbecued pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw for dinner and then walked to VG’s Donuts for dessert. We watched an amazing sun set over the Pacific.

Ozzie, Stephen, Kimi, Beata and Bill came over for a dinner that Mami made for Stephen’s belated 22nd birthday.

Another Walk At SeaWorld And A Shamu Show

Walked around SeaWorld again with my mom and this time stayed for the Shamu Show to get some new pictures. Also got pictures of a couple of Beluga Whales, a Polar Bear, a Walrus, two Egret chicks, a couple of Rabbits, three Sea Turtles and two Sunflower Stars together.

RIP Nick Nicholson

Got word today that our neighbor, Nick, passed away around 12:30 this morning.

Last Respects for Sumar at SeaWorld

Went to SeaWorld again with my mom to pay our final respects for Sumar, the Killer Whale who died yesterday.

Chatting With Brenda, Video-style

Had a brief Google video chat with Brenda this evening. She had a rough day at school. I didn’t help by telling her about Sumar dying at SeaWorld. Lesson learned.

One Lap Around SeaWorld

Walked around SeaWorld once with my mom today. Watched a couple of Killer Whales being trained. Little did we know that two hours after we watched them one of the Killer Whales, Sumar, would die.
