Watched a Fire and Rescue helicopter land down in Rose Canyon beneath our house by the railroad tracks. Then six emergency vehicles arrived on scene. The local CBS News had their own helicopter circling around taking video. Later I found out that it was all for a hiker slipped into the river basin and broke at least one of his ankles. He got taken away in an ambulance once they realized his injuries weren’t life threatening. That’s a lot of city resources for on broken ankle.
