Thanks for this, Peter, for a couple of reasons that really hit home:
1. VISUAL. It inspires and appeals to the animator-artist in me.
See http://www.morrislessmore.com/ for more.
2. MUSICAL. I’ve already tracked down and written to the composer (John Hunter) for information on that Waltz you hear in the clip (it’s not available on Amazon). It makes a *perfect* accompaniment to the Apache Tango Waltz figures we recently learned on the Queen Mary.

Oh, and I really wish I had an iPad …

It is a very inspiring piece! Stunning visuals and the music really is perfect for it. Sylvia tried to find it as well to download. Let me know if you ever find it. (And the iPad desire is very understandable.)
Here is John Hunter’s (very quick) response:
“Thanks so much for the inquiry. At this point in time, I’m not certain as to whether or not MOONBOT will be releasing a soundtrack for the film. Many people have sent emails requesting it, so I do believe that they are considering it. Unfortunately, I cannot send you a copy since I was contracted as a ‘composer for hire’ to create the music and no longer retain ownership of the tracks.”
We should get a few of our friends to inquire, and put more pressure on MOONBOT.
