We were surprised by a new visitor in our backyard this evening. A small weasel. Even though our house overlooks a canyon I had no idea they inhabited our part of town. Was unfortunately not able to get any pictures of it. It was too fast and skittish. But it was really pretty.

Spent some time outside and away from my computer this afternoon and took some macro photos of insects. Then I came right back inside heading straight for my computer. Learned what a ladybug larva looked like.

My niece dropped off the three newborn kittens today for us to take care of and feed throughout the day. Had one of the hardest feedings this morning, but also one of the best this afternoon. Their eyes are all open now, but they still can’t focus on things.
