After my Zoo visit I drove over to Captain’s Cove at Seaport Village to pick the final calendar I need for this year. Instead of asking for the “Hot Pirate Babes” calendar, I just pointed to their display and told them I would like one. There were other people in the store. Afterwards I walked around and took some pictures, since I was already there anyway.

Peter, what lens did you use for the skyline shots?

It was the regular 18-70mm kit lens that came with the camera. I liked the way the elements in the pictures were shot but, because the day was so overcast, I was really unhappy with the flatness of the sky and water. So, while I didn’t add anything to the images, I did take some liberties to enhance the sky and water. It turned a couple of ok pictures into ones I was more proud of showing.
