After waiting two months I finally received my invitation-only welcome for my about.me page and set up my site profile.

Brenda-Chatting Via Video

Finally, after a much-too-long delay, I had another video chat with Brenda. We talked about her late brother, Greg, and danced and sang to “The Lonely Goatherd” from “The Sound of Music.”

Just a half day today.

Second Video Chat With The Soon-To-Be Tapia Children

Had a nice, unexpected video chat with Sylvia, Rodrigo and the kids after they finished a pizza dinner. Even made plans with them for next week.

Back At MIP Again…

Yep, went back to Multi Image for two hours this afternoon to go over some more comments and critiques about my work with a client. She finally liked most of it. This must end soon. Cuz tomorrow I have to go back.

Bento Buddies

Had lunch with Sylvia, Mary and her daughter Diana at Bento & Noodles in Chula Vista.

FINALLY!

Back At The Grind Of The MIP Kind

Had a long, but very productive day out at Multi Image. Yay for money.

Video Chat With The Tapias’ Kids

Had my first “live” interaction with the two children Sylvia and Rodrigo are adopting.

(Names and faces are protected until the final papers are signed…IN SIX MONTHS!)

After-Party Visit With The Tapias

Had a laugh-filled post-party visit at the Tapias’ house.

Adoption Shower For The Tapias

Had both an adoption and surprise birthdays party for Sylvia and Rodrigo at Fuddrucker’s in Chula Vista. And there was much cheering.

Appropriately Titled Bird-Theme Tweet-Up At The Zoo

Attended my second tweet-up at the San Diego Zoo. This one was at the Owen’s Aviary and was bird-themed. Like last time, I took my mom.

God Save The Monarch

Our neighbor Liz brought over a recently emerged Monarch Butterfly that had some wing damage. She was hoping I could fix it. Tried to straighten out three bent or folded wings, but it just didn’t work. Finally placed it outside on a milkweed plant so it could at least get some flower nectar.
