Half-Day At The Tapias

Took some chicken soup down to Sylvia and Rodrigo because they were both sick with colds. Stayed to help move some furniture, watched the sunset, picked the dogs up from the groomers and had some really good Mexican food. Oh, and they officially said yes today to adopting a young Hispanic brother and sister.

Toy Story 3 Out On DVD Today!

Peaceful Walk At SeaWorld

Went for a nice, short, relaxing walk at SeaWorld with my mom today.

It’s Almost Over!!!

Thank the maker that all the political phone calls, television ads and junk mailers will stop invading my realm after today. At least until the next angry elections come around again to irritate the non-absorbable waste out of me.

Argue instead of discuss

I Am The Building Super

Finally got around to changing out my old, dysfunctional bathroom doorknob for a shiny new one that isn’t silver on one side and brass on the other.

It’s Calendar Changing Day!

Changed all 18 of my calendars to November. Good thing, too, since November started this morning.

New Sherlock Holmes Series

Also watched the series premiere of the new BBC series called Sherlock. It’s a brilliant modern take on the stories with nods to the original books. Definitely will keep watching this.

The Walking Dead

Watched the premiere of the new AMC series “The Walking Dead.” So appropriate for Halloween. Quite graphic.

Halloween Chat With Brenda

Brenda called me with Google video chat while wearing her Big Bird costume. My mom, her mom, her brother Mike and Musashi also joined in the chat.

Checking On The Dogs And Cats

Checked in on the neighbors’ dogs and cats while they were at the Chargers game against the Tennessee Titans. Chargers went on to win 33-25 after trailing for most of the game.

Randy’s Gourds And Decor

Randy’s Halloween decorations and crop of pumpkins he grew for Halloween carving and pie.

At The Long Beach Comic Con

Had a fantastic day at this Con with Randy. So relaxed, no pressure, friendly, easy to walk around, talk to anybody kind of Con. It was tiny compared to our Comic Con in San Diego, but so refreshing. Twas a really good day.

Fatefully Synchronistic Randomness

I wanted to pick a completely random photo from my external drive (with even my eyes closed and just typing a character) and amazingly landed on this one I made of Randy for his birthday from 5 years ago. Amazing for two reasons: first, Randy’s birthday is this Sunday and second, tomorrow he and I are going to Long Beach for their version of a Comic Con and he’ll be volunteering dressed as an X-Wing pilot from Star Wars. It would boggle my mind if I had one.

Post #300: Dinner At Pick Up Stix
